Central High Students Sign Letters of Intent

Central High School seniors Rylie Scott and Jacksen Keter will be signing letters of intent for college Wednesday, September 11 at 12:30 pm in the high school gymnasium. Both students are five-year members of the Central High School FFA Chapter. They are part of the Central High livestock judging team, active members of the FFA showing sheep, goats, and pigs. Both students serve as officers of their local FFA chapter. These students will culminate their high school achievements in FFA in May and will be nominated for the prestigious State FFA Degree this spring.

Central High senior Rylie Scott will be signing a letter of intent to Connors State College. Scott is receiving a full-ride scholarship in the area of Agricultural Livestock Evaluation and will be joining the Connors State College livestock judging team. This scholarship will give Scott the opportunity to travel across the United States representing Connors as well as Central High. Scott will major in Animal Science upon graduation. Following his stint at Connors State College, Scott plans to enter the field of Livestock Nutrition. Scott is currently serving as the Central High FFA Chapter President.

Central High School senior Jacksen Ketner will be signing a letter of intent to Connors State College. Ketner is receiving a 40 percent scholarship in the area of Agricultural Livestock Evaluation. This scholarship will give Ketner the opportunity to travel across the United States representing Connors as well as Central High. Ketner will major in Agricultural Business upon graduation. Ketner is currently serving as the Central High FFA Chapter Vice- President. He wishes to use his degree to travel both around the country as well as internationally.
