Elnora Fay Mancino

Elnora Fay Mancino, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 in Lawton, at the age of 93.

 Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 18, 2019, at the Denton Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry Couch officiating. Burial will follow in the Denton Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

 Elnora was born Thursday, December 31, 1925 in rural Comanche County, to Bert and Stella Marie (Johnson) Jones. She lived in the Denton community for more than 80 years and had graduated from the Sterling High School with the Class of 1945. Elnora married her loving husband, Albert Mancino on May 23, 1945 in Sterling; they were married for 59 wonderful years before his passing on October 26, 2004. Elnora had worked at the Haggar Slacks for 15 years and also helped her husband on the farm. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. Elnora was very involved with her children and other children as well helping with 4-H and a member of the Home Extension Club. She taught her girls to cook and did a lot of canning. Elnora enjoyed sewing and making things for her family members. She was a member of the Denton Baptist Church since she was 12 years old and was very active in the church.

 Survivors include, 4 daughters, Laretta Woods and husband David of Sterling, Linda Riley of Lawton, Peggy Campbell of Lawton, Anita Baldwin of Lawton, 7 grandchildren, Stephanee Thurman, Janice Weger and husband Steve, Brian Woods and wife Sarah, Karin Gerberding and husband Paul, Amanda Campbell and Steve Moore, Courtney Baldwin, Lauren Baldwin, 15 great-grandchildren, Lexus Gray, Douglas Gerberding, Hailey Gerberding, Erika Thurman, Jayden Baldwin, Lincoln Weger, Kiersten Hay, Abigail Thurman, Kailyn Gerberding, Hannah Woods, Leslie Weger, Grant Woods, Jase Woods, Nash Woods, and Amorah Small. She is also survived by a sister, Laneta Gillispie of Chattam, VA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 Along with her husband, Elnora was preceded in death by her son-in-law, James Riley, parents, and 2 brothers, Dorman Jones, Dale Jones.

 Pallbearers will be: her grandchildren and families.
