DLT Musical Opens Tonight
Duncan Little Theatre’s production of “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” opens this weekend at the Simmons Center. The doors open at 7pm and the curtain rises at 7:30; tickets are available at the box office.
This stage adaptation of the 1954 film features Adam Pontipee (Justin Sullivan), a pioneer farmer who marries Milly (Courtney Miles and Cara Peyton), a woman from a nearby town so that she can keep house for him and his six brothers. The unruly brothers decide they need to find brides of their own and with Milly’s help they make headway with six girls – until the girls’ suitors show up and the brothers have to devise a new plan.
Veronica Hodgson directs.
