With the Oklahoma State School Board’s decision to close all public schools until April 6, area schools have implemented plans to continue serving breakfast and lunch to students who otherwise might not have ready access to food. Superintendents from Marlow, Central High, and Bray-Doyle public schools released information for serving sack lunches beginning March 23.

MARLOW PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Free sack breakfasts and lunches for students 18 years old and younger will be available for pick-up only from 9am – 10am for breakfast and 10am – 11am for lunch on weekdays beginning March 23. The meals may be picked up in the drop-off lane at Marlow Elementary School. There will be no public access to buildings and no children are to be left at any school site.

CENTRAL HIGH PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Beginning Monday, March 23, Central High Public Schools will offer a “Bag and Go” breakfast and lunch for students. Staff will be at the school to hand out bags to Central High students.

Pickup time for breakfast and lunch is 7:30 – 9am. Pickup is at the south door of the cafeteria; all bags will be carried to your vehicle.

The Superintendent’s office will be opened beginning March 23 from 9am – 12 noon Monday through Thursday. The elementary and high school office staff will check voicemails regularly and return calls as needed.

BRAY-DOYLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Those who want to sign children up for breakfast and lunch during the school closing should send a list of which children are eating to bdpslunches@braydoyle.k12.ok.us. Meals will begin Monday, March 23. More details will be released as they are finalized.
