Food Boxes to be Distributed Friday

Volunteers with Marlow Community Blessing Box announced this week that they are partnering with Go Fresh and SCHH Services to provide food boxes for the Marlow community on Friday, August 21 at the Marlow Middle School gym.

Blessing Box organizer Rose Massey said that the group will have approximately 1200 boxes of food to give away starting at 4:30pm and continuing until all of the food is gone.

Those picking up food are asked to follow these guidelines:

• One family per vehicle

• Clean out a space in the vehicle or the trunk so that food can be loaded easily

• Enter from the north end of the parking lot; exit to the south and turn right out of the parking lot so that traffic can flow easily

• Please remain in the vehicle

“We appreciate Marlow Public Schools for allowing us to use the gym parking lot, and Marlow Lumber and Orscheln for helping us unload,” Massey said.

Marlow Community Blessing Box maintains free food boxes in two locations in Marlow.
