The Marlow High School art classes, under the direction of teacher Arlyn Brantley, are creating artwork to be displayed and sold to raise money for their program. The auction will be held on Thursday, May 6 from 6pm until 8pm in the high school Dome Gym.

Among the items to be sold are ceramics, watercolors, vintage-inspired signs and wall decorations, acrylic paintings, and other donated items from local businesses.

“The art classes produce a large volume of work each year and I would really like to share their talent with our community,” said Brantley. “Hopefully the event will be a fun way to encourage everyone to come out and support the kids even if they don’t know much about art.”

Funds raised from the art show auction will be used to purchase supplies and pay for activities in the upcoming school year.
