Harold Dean Patterson

Harold Dean Patterson, 78, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 in Duncan. Memorial services were held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at the Callaway Smith Cobb Chapel in Marlow, with Dana White officiating. Cremation and all arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow. Harold was born Monday, October 18, 1942 in Marlow, to W.C. and Mozelle (Barker) Patterson. He was a graduate of Capital Hill High School. Harold lived in the Marlow area most of his life. He was an excellent welder and began welding at the age of 12. Harold was employed by Halliburton and also at Goodyear for many years as a welder until his retirement. Following his retirement, he went to work at the casino and loved every minute of it. He was a people person who knew everyone, loved making friends, and he never met a stranger. Harold enjoyed fishing, playing blackjack, and watching sports. He was a big fan of Tom Brady and Bill Bilichick. Most importantly, Harold loved his family and the time he got to spend with them. He will be deeply missed. Survivors include son, Monte Patterson and wife Larissa of Sioux Falls, SD, daughter, Kristi Mericle and husband Thom of Tulsa, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Linda "Sissy" Black, and Debbie Lindsey and husband Don.
