Duncan: Jason Ray Freeman, 41, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 4, 2021, in Duncan. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 11, at Chisholm Trail Church of Christ, with Leonard Keele officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow. Visitation will be held at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel Friday, September 10 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Jason was born Sunday, November 4, 1979, in Duncan to Johnny and Laura Freeman. He was a 1998 graduate of Marlow High School and briefly attended the University of Oklahoma. Jason owned and operated J&J Appliance and managed Freeman’s Appliance with his dad for 22 years. He married the love of his life, Keri Greer, April 8, 2006, and they enjoyed 15 wonderful years of marriage together. Jason was an extremely active member in the Marlow community and was always willing to volunteer for anything his wife signed him up for. He enjoyed many things in life including coaching his kids' sports teams, watching Sooner and Outlaw football, and most of all, pestering the ones he loved. Jason loved and cherished his friends and family deeply. His quick wit, humor, and big heart will be missed by all. Survivors include wife, Keri, son, Rex,13, and daughter, Lexi, 10, all of the home; his parents; sister, Jennifer Burnett and husband Chris of Temple, TX; five nieces and nephews, Haylee & Tyler Burnett, Jett, Marlee, & Jaxon Adams; father-in-law, Robert Greer and wife Linda; mother-in-law, Beth Ann Raney and husband Howard; two sisters-in-law, Kelsi Turner and Rachel Adams; three brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Adams, Jessie Raney & family, and Ethan Raney & family, and close friends, JC & Sara Martin and son Jayce. Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents Louie & Neoma Freeman, Carl & Winnie Emmons, Faye Benton, and Bob & Helen Greer. Pallbearers will be: JC Martin, Jayce Martin, Chris Burnett, Tyler Burnett, Randall Allen, Jeffrey Adams, Wade Whatley, and Seth Reynolds. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mark Cochran, Cooper McCarley, Jason Graham, Clint Garrett, and Nathan Crow.
