Helen Mildred Seibold-Pryor

Helen Mildred Seibold-Pryor, 93, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in Marlow.

A wake is scheduled for Friday, October 8, 2021, at 6:00 PM at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Marlow. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Sterling. Burial will be in the Sterling Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow. Visitation will be Friday from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, at the funeral home. Helen was born Thursday, August 30, 1928 in Central High, to Walter Willard “Bill” and Ruth Helen (Fields) Peterson. She attended Denton Elementary School until she was recruited by Sterling to play basketball. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1947, with the honor of being the Valedictorian of her class. Helen owned and operated the family dairy farm and also worked as a bookkeeper. On June 11, 1951, she married John Louis Seibold at the Sterling Catholic Church. They were married for more than 19 years before he preceded her in death on April 24, 1971. Following John's passing, Helen married Robert David "R.D." Pryor on October 14, 1972 at the Sterling Catholic Church. He preceded her in death July 10, 2017. Helen was a very active and longtime member of many organizations. She was a member of the Sterling Alter Society, an Associated Milk Producers Incorporated and Ladies Auxiliary, Willing Workers Home Demonstration Club, and a 4-H Delegate. Helen enjoyed crocheting, sewing and teaching sewing, playing the accordion, crossword puzzles, fishing, and family time with her kids and grandkids. Helen's family will miss her deeply and continue to carry her memory in their hearts. Survivors include, 2 sons, Stephen Seibold and wife Ginger of Sterling, and Stanley Seibold and wife Charlotte of Chattanooga, 4 daughters, Debbie Lynn Benton of Marlow, Mary Wright and husband Kenton of Weatherford, Cheryl Lewis of Dalhart, TX, and Denise Tullous and husband Randy of Marlow, 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and

nephews. In addition to her 2 husbands, Helen was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, and sister, Norma Jean Jones.
