Mary Lee Dunbar

Mary Lee Dunbar, 90, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 in Duncan.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow, with Rev. Ron Maxfield officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 28, 12:00PM-8:30PM. The family will be receiving visitors on Monday evening, at the funeral home, from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Mary was born Friday, March 13, 1931 in Alma, to John Leonard and Arlie Ola (Chaudoin) Bramblett. She was the youngest of 6 sisters and also has a younger brother. Mary attended school in Duncan and lived in the Stephens County area all of her life. She married Albert L. Dunbar on November 19, 1950, in Duncan. Mary and Albert celebrated more than 55 wonderful years of marriage until he preceded her in death on March 5, 2006. She enjoyed embroidery, quilting, cooking, and just being at home. Mary loved her family, especially her son, daughter, grandkids, and great-grandkids, and cherished the time she got to spend with them. She will be missed by all.

Survivors include son, Charles Dunbar; daughter, Terry Dillingham and husband Darrell; 3 grandchildren, Tyler Dunbar and wife Diana, Chrisie Young and husband Faron, and Bubba Dillingham and wife Tonya; 10 great-grandchildren, Sam Dunbar, Lane Dunbar, Cole Young, Ryan Young, and Evan Young, Kutter Dillingham, Westin Dillingham, Ali Rodringuez, Rocket Rodriguez, and Katt Brown; brother, DeWayne Bramblett; Mary is also survived by her special friends from her Sunday School Class; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, LC Henderson.

In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents; 5 sisters and their husbands: Dossie Edwards and husband Carl, Maxine Reid and husband Homer, Willine Scott and husband Glen, Faye Pankey and husband Frank, and Theda Williams; and brother in law, Chark Dunbar and wife Virginia, best friend, Willa Henderson

Pallbearers will be Bubba Dillingham, Tyler Dunbar, Faron Young, Randall Scott, Danny Glover, and Danny Martin.

Honorary Pallbearer will be: LC Henderson
