Donald Wayne Lindsey

Donald Wayne Lindsey, 65, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 in Marlow.

Memorial services are planned for 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 13, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Marlow with Dr. Joe Ligon and Rev Eddie Coast officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Don was born Wednesday, September 5, 1956 in Chickasha, to Rann and Euzelia Lottie (Jolley) Lindsey. He attended Southwestern University for 2 years. Don then went on to Cameron University, where he would earn his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. He had lived in Marlow for 43 years and worked as a Chemist for Halliburton for 39 years, and he also worked for DR2 for 2 1/2 years. He was a loyal and dedicated employee who took his job very seriously. Don married his best friend and love of his life, Debbie Patterson, August 21, 1976 in Marlow. He and Debbie celebrated more than 45 years of marriage at the time of his passing. Don enjoyed golfing and yard work. He loved his family the most and enjoyed any time he got to spend with them, especially his grandkids. Don's grandkids were the light of his life and he loved playing with them. He will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include his wife of the home; 2 daughters, Memre Fields and husband Eric of Marlow, and Tera Hutson and husband Allen of Edmond; 5 grandchildren, Brynn Fields, Elle Fields, Rann Hutson, Camille Hutson and Leigh Hutson; sister, Judy White of Duncan; sister-in-law, Paula Lindsey; sister-in-law, Sissy Black; brother-in-law, James Ezell; brother-in-law, Roy Lynn Harrelson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his grandson, Beckham Wayne Fields, 2 sisters, Linda Harrelson and Janie Ezell, brother, Charles Rann Lindsey, 3 brothers-in-law, Mac White, Harold Dean Patterson, and James Black, nephew, James Gregory Black, niece, Staci Harrelson, and mother and father-in-law, Bill and Mozelle Stinson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Eric Fields, Allen Hutson, Tyler Richey, Jeff White, Loren White, and Rann White.
