Glover, Sullivan place in FFA Greenhand Quiz Bowl

Marlow FFA team members participated in the Waurika PI contest, held at the Stephens County Fair & Expo Center, Oct. 4.

Two of the students, Jack Glover and Kylie Sullivan, placed in the top five in the Greenhand quiz bowl. Glover placed fourth and Sullivan, fifth. Comanche ag teacher, Shelbi Morgan, presented Glover and Sullivan with their awards.

“We also had the first place opening, closing ceremonies team that advances to the state contest in Stillwater Tuesday (Oct. 18), said Marlow FFA ag teacher, Quaid Kennan. Members of the team were Kinley Castle, Avery Throckmorton, Reese Dickerson, Lilly Morningstar, Major Fleetwood and Jack Glover.

FFA officers are, Glover, president; Major Fleetwood, vice president; Lillie Morningstar, secretary; Reese Dickerson, reporter; Avery Throckmorton, treasurer; and Kinley Castle, sentinel.
