Doughty signs with Rose State

Marlow High School senior Erin Doughty signed a letter of intent with Rose State to play softball, Friday, Nov. 11, 2022. She was joined by her parents, Jamie and Dennis Doughty, and coaches, Trevor Hudgens, softball, and Brett Tahah, basketball.

She’s excited about making Rose State her home away from home. She said as soon as she visited the campus, she felt comfortable. Erin Doughty, Kendall Kizarr and Whitney Wade along with other teammates enjoyed some softball frosted cookies after after the signing. Doughty said she didn’t start playing softball until 8th grade.

“I didn’t even think I would end up playing college softball when I was younger. I didn’t even play softball.”
