Outlaw Boys win Idabel Classic; Lady Outlaws grab 3rd place

Payne, Harris and Wade selected for All-Tournament Team

Marlow Outlaw boys’ basketball team are the Idabel Winter Classic Champions for 2022. The final score in the championship game Thursday against the Idabel Warriors was 43-37. This puts the Outlaw team at 6-1 for the season.

Avrey Payne and Blayd Harris made the All-Tournament Team, with Payne being named MVP. Payne had an average of 18.7 points per game, and was 23-for-26 from the free throw line for the tournament.

Outlaw Coach Kirk Harris said he was proud of the team’s effort during the Idabel tournament.

Lady Outlaws defeated New Boston, TX, putting them in at third place for the tournament. Senior player Whitney Wade was named to the All-Tournament Team. Lady Outlaws entered Tuesday’s home game with Davis at 6-1.
