Outlaws win against Wolves

In Tuesday’s home game against the Davis Wolves this week, the boys and girls both had victories. The boys finished 60-42, and the Lady Outlaws had a narrower margin for their win, 35-31.

Avrey Payne was top scorer with 20 points, Parker Boyles, 16, and Blayd Harris, 10 points. And in Tuesday’s game, other Outlaws adding points to the board were Mason Holding, 5, Jacob Crowson, 4, Kaden Harris, 3, and Brenden Brooks, 2 points.

Davis’ Dakota Carver was high scorer with 11 points for his team.

On the girl’s side, Whitney Wade scored 21 points for her team, Kently Davis, 6, Carson Lovett, 4, and Erin Doughty and Demi Hunt, 2 each.

Chloe Summers earned her Davis team 14 points.

Harris is this week’s Outlaw Spotlight Player, chosen by Coach Harris. Kendall Kizarr is this week’s Lady Outlaw Spotlight Player, chosen by Coach Brett Tahah.

The Lady Outlaws headed out Wednesday afternoon for the Kingston Tournament, which is Jan. 5-7. Harris said the boys’ team would leave early Thursday. They plan to spend Wednesday practicing on their home court and working on their defensive skills.

The next home game for the Outlaws is set for Jan. 10 against Purcell.
