Brenda June White (1959-2023) Duncan, OK

Brenda June White, 63, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023, in Duncan.

At the family's request, no services are planned at this time. Cremation and all arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Brenda was born Thursday, September 24, 1959, in Lawton, to Wilson and Mary (Sweeney) Amos.

She was a graduate of Marlow High School and lived in the Duncan area all of her life. She married her best friend, Henry Stephen White Jr., Nov. 23, 1983 in Sealsby, TX.

The two would go on to celebrate more than 38 years of marriage before Henry preceded her in death in May 2022.

Brenda enjoyed drawing, painting, writing and crafts of any kind. She was a very artistic individual. Brenda was a solitary person who was naturally drawn to take care of others and she was always protective over those she loved. She will forever be missed.

Survivors include her daughter, Sage White of Tulsa, and her sister, Beverly Odebrecht. She was preceded in death by husband, Henry Stephen White, Jr., her parents, and three brothers, Harold Keith Amos, Dennis Amos, and Benny Wilson Amos.
