Edward ‘Keith’ Barrington (1961-2023) Marlow, OK
Edward "Keith" Barrington, 61, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, in Oklahoma City.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 17, 2023, at the Glory Bound Church, with Rev. David Woods officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
Visitation for Keith will be at the funeral home 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 16. There will be a family visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 16.
Keith was born Tuesday, July 25, 1961, in Duncan, to Lonnie Edward and Joyce (White) Barrington. He was a 1979 graduate of Marlow High School. Keith lived in Marlow all of his life and spent his time working as a truck driver, a job he truly loved.
He married the love of his life, Lorie Janette Phillips, June 1, 1985, in Marlow. Keith and Lorie celebrated more than 37 wonderful years of marriage at the time of his passing. He loved riding Harleys and was a member of the OK Harley Association. Keith loved his family the most, especially his grandchildren. He loved being Pappy to them and giving them life advice and teaching them the correct way to act, drive, and mow the yard. Keith was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
Keith leaves behind his wife Lorie of the home, son, Zach Barrington and wife Davi of Duncan, daughter, Casie Dorman and husband Lee of Rush Springs, grandchildren, Kelby, Sadie, Lexi, Ryan, Chevelle, Kade, Kylie, Kayler, Tailer, Aubrey, and Jacklyn, three honorary grandkids, Derrick, Julie, and Cade, mother, Joyce Barrington, brother, Ricky Barrington and wife Kim of Marlow, two nephews, Jared Barrington and Hunter Phillips, niece, Randi Barrington, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Keenan Wayne Barrington, father, JR Barrington, and step-father, Granville Robinson.
Pallbearers will be: Kelby Dorman, Ryan Barrington, Jared Barrington, Zach Barrington, Lee Dorman, and Tommy Newsom.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Lynn Logue, Richard Cobb, Duck Worthley, Karl Scott, and Donnie Elam.
