Running to Remember

Marlow Elementary faculty represented Marlow at the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon on Sunday, April 30, running the half marathon, 13.1 miles, in memory of the 19 children who lost their lives on April 19th, 1995. Principal Kim Kizarr ran the race in 2 hours and 16 minutes. Teachers, Kris Scalf and Leesha Crowson, ran the race in 2 hours and 21 minutes. This year’s run included almost 19,000 runners from all 50 states and 17 countries.
