Outlaw Track & Field compete at State Meet

Several members of the Outlaw Boys Track & Field team will be competing in the 4A State Track Meet event Friday and Saturday at Noble Stadium at Ardmore High School. (192 OK Hwy 142/Veterans Blvd). Qualifiers include Jonathan Brite, Tyler Brown, Zach Pettit, Ty Spivey

Following are the 4A Track & Field Results from the Regional Meet:

Discus Throw – Cian Durham 121’2” 6th out of 28 (10th grade) Jacob Hill 109’6” (11th grade).

Shot Put – Finals – Cian Durham 44’ 3rd out of 29 (10th grade); Ayden Williams 39’8.50” (11th grade); Brody Brantley 36’9”, 2nd (10th grade).

Pole Vault – Ty Spivey 12’ for 3rd place (10th grade); Aiden Justus 10’6”, 8th place (9th grade); Harrison Smith 9’ (12th grade).

110M Hurdles – Jonathan Brite 16.61, 3rd overall

300M Hurdles – Grant Woods 44.84, 6th overall (9th grade)

100M Dash – Cody Weber 11.86, 5th overall (11th grade)

200M Dash – Jonathon Brite, 23.17, 3rd, (10th grade); and Weber 24.75, 7th place.

400M Dash – Cruz Sanchez 54.88, 9th overall out of 28; (9th grade).

800M Run – Tyler Brown 2:11.21, 6th overall out of 29 (12th grade); Parker Boyles 2:20.35 (10th grade).

1600M Run – Ean Hewitt 5:02.93 (11th grade); Michael Weston 5:13.41 (10th grade).

4x100M Relay – Marlow 46.09 - Parker Davis, Brenden Brooks, Cruz Sanchez, Cody Weber.

4x200M Relay – 1:33.84 4th place - Davis, Jonathon Brite, Talon Sullivent, Weber.

4x400M Relay – 3:35.06 for 5th place, team of Sanchez, Logan Woods, Sullivent, Brite.

4x800M Relay – 8:54.97 for 6th place, team of Tyler Brown, Grant Woods, Logan Woods, Ean Hewitt.

Boys Long Jump – Flight 1: Talon Sullivent 20’9” 1st (11th grade); Erick Busch 17’9.50” 3rd (10th grade); Flight 2 - Canton Clark 18’6” (11th grade); Finals – Sullivent 20’9” 5th out of 22; Clark 18’6” 10th; Busch 17’9.50”

High Jump – Zach Pettit 5’10”, 4th place (10th grade); Canton Clark 5’6” (11th grade); Parker Boyles 5’6” (10th grade) – both tied in 10th place.

Track Fact: Marlow’s Joe Dial had a 17’1” pole vault record in 1980.
