Lady Outlaws Track Team Headed to State

Four individual girls and a team of four plus an alternate have qualified to compete at the OSSAA State Track & Field Meet that will be Friday and Saturday at Ardmore, said Coach Tammy Miller.

The following qualified for state, Friday, May 5 & 6, at Ardmore: Kennedy Kizarr, Bristin Smith in Pole Vault; Kendall Kizarr in 100 M Hurdles; Bretlie Hyde in Shot & Discus; 3200 Relay team: Skylar Ramsey, Alisha Lemons, Kyah Blundell, Brileigh Soell, and alternate Blakley Tanner.

Marlow Lady Outlaws Regional Track meet results:

Pole Vault: Kennedy Kizarr, 1st place; Bristin Smith 3rd place.

100 m Hurdles: Kendall Kizarr 17.18, 3rd place

3200 Relay: 4th place with a time of 10:45.75 - Skylar Ramsey, Alisha Lemons, Kyah Blundell, Brileigh Soell.

Shot: Bretlie Hyde, 4th with a throw of 34'8.25"; and Kently Davis, threw 29' and placed 12th.

Discus: Hyde placed 4th, with 107'10"; and Chloe Boyster placed 5th with 105'8"; Kently Davis placed 6th with 102'.

Track & Field Fact: In 1997, Marlow’s Bambi Carson scored a 152’10” in the Girls Discus Throw for Class 4A at the OSSAA Track & Field State Championship.
