Brian Singleterry Named Outstanding Young Lawyer of Tarrant County

Haynes and Boone, LLP Associate Brian Singleterry has been named the 2023 Outstanding Young Lawyer by the Tarrant County Bar Association (TCBA). TCBA presented Singleterry with the award during its Law Day celebration on May 2.

Singleterry is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group, and he is based in Haynes Boone’s Fort Worth office. His practice focuses on commercial litigation. He is also the former president of the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association, an organization that engages in community service projects, holds CLEs and offers networking and mentoring opportunities for young lawyers.

The former Marlow resident and 2007 graduate, he attended the University of Oklahoma. He is hailed by the TCBA for bringing wide-ranging litigation experience to his client’s legal problems. Before attending law school, Singleterry worked in a corporate legal department, giving him first-hand knowledge of the client’s perspective on litigation. He then graduated first in his class from Texas A&M School of Law, where he served as an articles’ editor on the Texas A&M Law Review and earned a business-law certificate. Before joining the firm, Singleterry gained a broad array of litigation experience, having worked as a state prosecutor, a federal-court law clerk, and in private practice handling personal-injury, professional-liability, and business cases.

Now an associate in the Haynes Boone Litigation Practice Group, he counsels clients from the Fort Worth office. His practice focuses on commercial and employment litigation. Outside work, Singleterry runs half marathons, reads history, and enjoys time with his wife, Amy, and their two daughters, Marin and Rose. His parents, Kathy and Foster Singleterry still reside in Marlow.
