High Waters in Marlow – June 14, 1945
Marlow has never suffered loss from flood waters within the city yet the high water picture was taken last Friday by Nelson Studio and is an actual scene of high water which filled a low area at the ball park in southwest Marlow in spite of city drains to the sewer. The water formed a lake almost a block wide and entirely surrounded the home in the foreground at the corner of Sixth and Arapahoe.
