Collision claims life of Duncan man

A Duncan man, Blaine E. Gentry, 58, died Monday night in a two-vehicle collision about 6 miles east of Lawton in Comanche County. The accident happened about 8:16 p.m. on SE Lee Blvd. Gentry was transported by Kirk's EMS to Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, where he was pronounced deceased by Dr. Pfittzer at 11:22 p.m. from injuries sustained in the collision.

He was driving a 2003 GMC 1500. The second vehicle was a 2021 Freightliner, driven by Bryan E. Stewart, 59, of Clarksville, TN. Stewart was not injured. According to the OHP report released early Tuesday morning, the incident is under investigation.

Also assisted by Comanche County Sheriff's Department, Kirk's EMS, Cox Store Volunteer Fire Department, Valley View Volunteer Fire Department, and Hulen Volunteer Fire Department.
