What prompted you to join the journalism staff?

"I initially decided to join journalism because I liked to write and thought it would be fun (and fancy) to be able to write for a newspaper."

What has been your favorite experience or assignment?

"My favorite articles would probably be my Christmas parade story and my winter safety. I really like writing the student of the week personality profiles because I feel like I can get to know a student so well in just a small conversation.

What do you hope to gain from being in this class?

"So far, this class has helped me get better at time management, leadership, and working with other people. This year, I hope that I can put myself out there and get more creative with my stories."

Who has been a role model for you? Why?

"My older sister Cheyenne has been a very big role model for me. She worked her way toward everything she wanted and has always been a very reliable and caring person.

I plan on going to college and then become a librarian."
