Pews are Popular with Cumberland Presbyterians

New pews were installed during the last week of September 2023 at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Marlow. A vote was taken about three months ago, with the option of pews or chairs, with pews winning by a majority. A crew assembled and installed the new pews. New choir chairs, and a matching pastor and choir director chairs were added. The piano also moved to the stage, the altar was painted white with stained wood trim, courtesy of church member Lonnie Wright. The pews were anchored down and the sanctuary was completed in time for a late afternoon wedding on Saturday, Sept. 30.
