The Salvation Army of Lawton In-Person Angel Tree Applications Wrapping Up for 2023

Lawton, OK (October 18, 2023) – Thursday, October 19 is the final day to apply in person for Christmas assistance in 2023.

Online applications will be taken October 16 – 31 at www.SAAngelTree.org.

Assistance is available for any child between the ages of 0 and 12, whose family is eligible. Residents of Comanche, Cotton, Jefferson, Stephens, and Tilman Counties are eligible.

“The Salvation Army implements the application process to ensure the families applying are qualified to receive help. We strive to Do The Most Good with the resources entrusted to us.” Said Lawton Corps Officer Maj. Raymond Pruitt.

“The Salvation Army Red Kettle has been part of the American Christmas tradition for 130 years. We are honored to continue the legacy.” Pruitt said.

In 2022, The Salvation Army of Lawton assisted 1,800 of our neighbors at Christmas. We will likely exceed that number in 2023.” Pruitt said.
