Daniel Robert Davies, 74, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, in Marlow, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at the Marlow Cemetery, with Rev. David Woods and "Moose" Cleveland officiating. All arrangements will be under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow, OK.

Dan was born Monday, August 29, 1949, in Bremerton, WA, to Robert and Gene (Mitchell) Davies. Dan graduated from Duncan High School and went on to obtain an associate's degree in forestry from Centralia College in Washington.

Dan married Diane on March 21, 1975 in Carthage, Missouri. Together they raised their family in Marlow. Dan worked as a welder, electrician, and whatever else he needed to do over his career of 45 years working for Halliburton. Even at home, Dan liked to keep himself busy. He liked woodworking, making and repairing things, doing yard work, working on his truck, helping his sons with projects, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Davies, of the home; two sons, Jamie Davies and wife, Talina, of Duncan, and Dustin Davies and wife, Jamie, of Marlow; one daughter, Wendy Woods of Marlow; nine grandchildren, Westan Davies, Bryce Carr, Emma Davies, Zoey Davies, Hanna Dobbins, Katie Dobbins, Thomas Dobbins, Keeton Woods, and Shayna Woods; one great-grandson, Trail Woods; brother, David Davies and wife, Lori, of Marlow; and sister, Debbie Davis and husband, Randy, of Duncan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Dustin Eli Davies.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Davies, Dustin Davies, Westan Davies, Thomas Dobbins, David Davies, and Moose Cleveland.

Honorary Pallbearers include Nathan Wiseman.
