Waste Connection Donates Bicycles to Marlow Samaritans
Waste Connections services donated six bicycles this year to the Marlow Samaritans which will be gifted on Saturday to bring joy to a few youngsters this Christmas season. Chesney Busing, left, with WC, said the company conducts bicycle builds nationwide. Each district is responsible for generating donations among its employees. Waste Connections matches each district’s donations, and bicycles are bought closer to the holiday season in order to get the most out of their donations. The employees have a “build day” to put all the bicycles together. They coordinate with the City of Marlow to make the donations possible. Kara Choate: Our MMS Outlaws were excited to give $1000.00 to our Local Samaritan chapter alongside MMS PTO. The students at Marlow Middle School raised over $20,000.00 dollars to put back into their school! Their first project will be to help fund a mobile computer lab!
A Big part of our Outlaw Way is Giving back & we were really excited to be able to give a portion of the funds raised back into our community through our Samaritans.
We could not be more proud of the involvement from our MMS student body! They are an Incredible group of students & we love each and every minute that we get to work with them!
We are Blessed with the absolute BEST Staff & Administration at our Middle School & across the Board! Our MMS PTO is Beyond Grateful for everything we get to do with & for our School System, Staff, & our Students!!
We are so Thankful to all of our community, family, & friends who donated & helped our students achieve this Incredible goal!
Always a Proud & Great day to be an OUTLAW!!!
