Marlow Schools to have Late Start Day Monday

Marlow Public School Superintendent said there will be a Late Start Day Schedule for Monday, Feb. 12 because of the weather.

"Due to the continued prediction for snow overnight and the slight chance temps may dip below freezing early in the morning hours, we will be starting school 1.5 hours late on Monday," he told The Review.

Holland also issued a reminder that everyone should allow a short variance in bus route pickup as the change in time and possible poor conditions will impact pick up schedule. "If a student gets picked up normally at 7:10 a.m., then parents should expect a bus to arrive 8:40 a.m. (give or take 5 minutes or so) during a late start day."

All Marlow School employees should also adjust their arrival times for Monday.

A complete Late Start Day schedule that would need to be followed for any late start day, due to weather or other unforeseen situations, can be found on the district website.

*In the event the district makes the decision to have a Late Start Day due to weather or other unforeseen situations, this will be the schedule parents will need to follow.

This also means that no students should arrive or be dropped off before 9 a.m.

Schedule for Monday is as follows:

Marlow Elementary School

9 - 9:30 a.m. Drop-off (car rider & buses) to school - Gym open for early arrival - Cafeteria open to serve breakfast.

9:10 - 9:30 a.m. - PK/K may come to the North Building - School Starts at 9:30 a.m.

Marlow Middle School

9 a.m. A cold breakfast option (cereal/milk/fruit) will be available in the MS cafeteria.

Report directly to 2nd hour class. Tardy Bell: 9:30 a.m. 2nd period will end at regular time - 9:45 a.m.

Third Period - Seventh Period - Regular schedule

Marlow High School

A cold breakfast option (cereal/milk/fruit) will be available at 9 a.m. in the HS cafeteria.

Report directly to 2nd hour class. Tardy Bell: 9:30am 2nd period will end at regular time - 9:45am.
