It was the second annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Marlow Masonic Lodge #103. Amos is the daughter of Kyla and Devin Amos of Marlow. She wore a pretty frilly dress adorned with butterflies, accessorized by butterfly clips in her ponytails.

Lodge treasurer Terry Tate said there were about 100 youngsters at this year’s event, compared to 25 last year.

“The Easter Bunny wanted to do it and put it all on again this year. We had 3,000 plastic-filled eggs and the gold eggs had money in them. This was a project the lodge wanted to do.”

Lodge members and parents all agreed it was just right for the little ones to run and hunt eggs without getting the stress of a huge crowd. Shelby Johnson Jr., whose young children also were there, wore the Easter Bunny costume.

The Masons host a breakfast at the lodge on Main Street (next to the Gazebo) from 8 to 10 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month.
