Corrine Francis (Wright) Steele, 92, of Marlow, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in Duncan.

Public visitation will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2024. The family will be receiving guests from 5 to 7 p.m..

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2024, at the Marlow cemetery with Reverend David Woods officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services of Marlow, OK.

Corrine was born February 12, 1932, in Rush Springs, OK to Claud (Top) and Bessie Lou Wright. She married Sidney Edwin Steele on October 30, 1948, in Henrietta, TX. Corrine lived all of her life in the Grady and Stephens County area. She was a farmer and housewife. She enjoyed camping, taking care of cattle, gardening, farming, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her two daughters, Christine and husband, Marvin Mercer, of Marlow, and Linda and husband, David Cox, of Duncan; three grandchildren, Christie Renea and husband, Casey Condit, of Duncan, Mistie Ann and Cole Dill of Marlow, and Dalinda Cox of Oklahoma City; great-grandchildren, Aspen Brooke Condit and Breken Chase Condit of Duncan; a sister, Frances Houston of Duncan, a special nephew, George Lynn and wife, Linda Steele of Longview, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Steele, her parents, a brother, Carl Wright, sister-in-law, Mary Wright, and brother-in-law, G. L. Houston.
