Linda Robinson Marshall was born Jan. 13, 1945 in Foster, Oklahoma to Lillie and Colin Robinson. She went on to meet her loved ones in Heaven who were waiting for her on Sunday, June 16, 2024. Visitation will be available from 8:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, Oklahoma. The family will be receiving guests from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22 at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow. Interment will be in Marlow Cemetery. Linda graduated from Bray High School in 1963, where she loved playing basketball. With her on the team, the Bray High School Girls Basketball Team won the state championship 1961. In 1962, they came in second place. Her strong and competitive spirit added to her success in the business world. She did well at whatever job or task she was presented, and she sold a lot of real estate. She helped many of her friends and family members by giving them a boost up with ideas, finances, encouragement and sometimes a roof over their head. Survivors include her husband of the home, Gene Marshall; daughter, Susan Rogers, son, Greg and Melanie Childers; grandsons, Cameron, Connor and Cole Childers; sisters, Betty Jo Carroll; Erma and Frank Potts; Sharron and Mark Dalrymple, Kathy Lyday and husband, Albert Culp; brothers, Orvel and Judy Robinson, Clinton and Dottie Whitehead, Joe and Petti Robinson and numerous nieces, nephews, as well as a host of other relatives. Linda was predeceased by her parents; brother, Granville Robinson, sisters, Loretta Robinson and Leona Robinson Graham; John Graham, Marty Childers, Don Lyday and Lynn Eaves. Although our hearts are breaking at this loss, we know we are all better for having known her. She’ll be waiting for us with big hugs and lots of stories on the other side.
