Elizabeth Ann Liz Brenneis
Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Brenneis was born on July 17, 1950,
in Duncan, OK, to Macklin
and Lillie (Lynn) Wright. She
went to be with her Lord and
Savior on Sunday, June 30,
2024, at the age of 73.
A memorial service is
planned for 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 8, at New Hope Baptist Church West with Rev.
Randy Southerland officiating. Arrangements have been
entrusted to Whitt Funeral
Home/Oakcrest Cremation
Center.
Liz graduated from Velma
High School with the class of
1968. On June 1, 1970, she
married the love of her life,
Dave Brenneis, in Oklahoma
City and to this union was
born their son, Chad. For 33
years, Liz worked at Perkins
Realty. In her free time, she
loved to travel and fish. Her
favorite places to visit were
the mountains of Colorado
and the beach at Port Aransas,
Texas. When she wasn’t traveling, she enjoyed sitting on
her porch watching the hummingbirds or tending to her
flowers. The most important
thing to Liz was her family. She loved to cook family dinners and spend time
with her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her
parents, Liz is survived by her
husband of 54 years, David
“Dave” Brenneis; son, Chad
and wife Kasey Brenneis of
Marlow; grandchildren: Kaleigh Farris and husband Jimmy, Cannon Brenneis; and
great-grandchildren: Deklan
Farris, Kynadi Farris, and
Drake Farris. Other survivors
include brother: Gary Wright
and wife Linda; and sisters:
Carolyn Vinson and husband
Steve, Melisa Rubrecht and
husband Johnnie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in
Liz’s name to the American
Cancer Society, Chad Richison Hope Lodge at 801 NE 7th
St, Oklahoma City, OK 73104.
