Clifford “Butch” Bingham also known to many as Poppy, passed from this life September 1st, 2024 in OKC. Memorial Service will be held Thursday September 5th, 2024, 1 p.m. at Vimy Ridge Baptist Church, Rush Springs, OK. Butch was born July 31st, 1952 to Bub and Carolyn Bingham. He was the oldest of 8 children and knew well how to love, teach and look out for one another, and especially to those you love. He was raised and graduated from Bray. Butch married Charlene McClenny on August 10th, 1973 with two daughters Jerri and Stacey for an instant family. Two years later they completed their family with another daughter Jackie Beth. They lived in and around Marlow-Duncan area before making their home in Rush Springs in 1984. Butch and Charlene celebrated over 49 years of marriage. Butch was an electrical lineman and retired from PSO. Butch was a one of a kind guy if you knew him. He was always entertaining whether picking and grinning or winning one of the many games played around the kitchen table. Poppy loved his family and treasured the time spent with them as well as a number of bonus boys he taught to play guitar or cheat at cards and dominoes, or experience the wildest spoon games ever played. Butch enjoyed the outdoors, raising animals, telling stories, hunting and fishing. He took great efforts to pass his love of these important things to kids and grandkids. He loved many and he loved BIG. Poppy will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Butch is survived by his three children Jerri & Roy Crow, Stacey & Randy Moon and Jackie & George crow. His 9 grandchildren Traci & Leighla Roberts, Payton & Makayla Roberts, Lexi Crow, Caleb & Megan Cavery, Mandi & James Starnper, Joey Borski, Josh and destiny Borski. He had 18 Great Grandchildren. Siblings Carolyn Galloway, Larry & Debbie Osborne, Peggy Stinnett, Greg and Janet Price & Susan, Danny Wakings, & Wayne & Kathy Bingham and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Bub & Carolyn Bingham, Wife Charlene and baby brother Rocky.
