Bark in the Park Event Coming October 5

The Bark in the Park event will be held October 5 with all proceeds benefiting the Stephens County Humane Society.

Bark in the Park will be held Saturday, October 5, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Fuqua Park in Duncan- the event is pet and family-friendly.

There will be food trucks, weiner bobbing, and raffles.

Contests include Best Pet Costume, Best Bark, Best Trick, Best Owner Look-a-Like, and weenie dog races with contests requiring a $5 entry fee. Entered dogs must be on a leash, vaccinated, and licensed. Female dogs in heat may not participate.

The Wak Walk will be held that day at 9 a.m. Pre-registration is $20 and registration is $25 on the day off, sponsored by DRH Health.
