Steve Kimbrough

On Thursday, September 26, 2024, Steve Kimbrough of Bethany, Oklahoma, formerly of Marlow, Oklahoma, was called Home to the Lord at the age of 79. Born on August 11, 1945, Steve was the son of Virginia Ruth (Vaught) Kimbrough and George Floyd Kimbrough, both of whom have preceded him in death. Steve is also preceded in death by a grandson, Elijah Kimbrough, his daughter, Misty Kimbrough, and most recently, his beloved wife Faye, who passed away on June 24, 2024.

Steve enjoyed a 20-year career at Bridgestone Firestone where he worked his way up to second in command. In his free time, he was an avid fisherman and loved traveling with the love of his life, Faye.

His memory will be treasured by his son, Justin Kimbrough and wife Kelley of Oklahoma City; stepdaughter Lori Davis and husband Ken; grandchildren Eric Kimbrough, and Jack Crawford; four siblings – sisters Barbara Benfield, and Deborah Lewallen and husband Steve, all of Marlow, and brothers Darren Kimbrough and wife Starr of Yukon, and Miles Keith Kimbrough and his longtime companion Reba York of Broken Arrow; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.

A memorial service will begin at 11:00am Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at One Church, located at 7941 NW 23rd St. Bethany, OK, 73008 with Pastor Darin Troutman officiating.
