Rockin the Roof concert, food trucks, vendors, set for Oct 26 in Duncan

Von Hawks Rising, a local non-profit band, once again presents Rockin’ the Roof, a concert and car show to raise money for children impacted by extreme illness or traumatic experiences. 

Rockin’ the Roof will be held on Saturday, October 26th at 58 North 12 th Street in downtown Duncan. The fundraising event will include a kid’s zone full of activities, vendors, food trucks, a car show, and of course a rockin’ concert on the roof of Impact580 church!

The car show begins at 6:30, and the concert will be from 7:30-9:30. Local volunteers and organizations will be hosting booths and there will be food trucks at the event. Car show prizes will be awarded around 9:00 pm.

“We want to give a special thank you to all our VHR sponsors as well as our volunteers. Your support allows us to make a difference where it matters most” -Kaylee Cooper, VHR Marketing Team Leader Stephanie Gates, VHR Events Team Leader said, “VHR’s mission is so impactful bringing Hope Beyond the Sound to families across the state.  We have been raising money for two children and will be personally introducing them and their families at the event.”

The concert and car show are free for the public to attend. They will have lots of fun things for kids including inflatables, a Duncan Fire Department truck, games, Alpacas, and more! Gates also said, “You will not want to miss out on this amazing experience!” 

On-site registration for the car show starts at 5:30 PM. Entry is donation-based, with contributions of any amount appreciated. All vehicles, including motorcycles, are welcome, no matter the make, model, or year. Multiple awards will be presented.
