Marlow FUMC to host Blessing of the Animals Oct 26

First United Methodist Church in Marlow is observing the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi with a Blessing of the Animals on Oct. 26th, Saturday, from 9am-10am.  This event will take place on the front steps of the church, located at 421 W. Main, in Marlow.  St. Francis of Assisi was known for his love for all creatures great and small, so we welcome four-legged, winged, finned and furry creatures to our doors for a special blessing by Pastor Micah Welcher.  All pets must be leashed, caged or crated for their own and everyone's safety.  

Donations to Stephens County Humane Society will also be accepted at the event.
