Marlow Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Growth, New Opportunities for Community Engagement
Since the beginning of the year, the Marlow Chamber of Commerce has experienced a surge in growth, welcoming 16 new members into its ranks. In an ongoing effort to celebrate the businesses that shape the heart of the town, the Chamber has announced a new weekly spotlight series featuring both new and existing members.
The initiative aims to introduce residents to the diverse and dynamic businesses that help the local economy thrive, and to encourage broader participation in Chamber activities.
For those considering joining the Chamber, several commonly asked questions were recently addressed by Chamber leaders.
No Meetings? No Problem.
Chamber membership does not require attendance at regular meetings. Instead, members are invited to attend monthly events geared toward networking and professional development.
Plenty of Ways to Get Involved
Members looking to play a more active role in the community can join one of three committees: Membership & Events, the Garden Committee, or the Community Development Committee. In addition, members can host or sponsor events such as Mornings in Marlow, After Hours, or Lunch & Learn sessions.
Training and Workshops Coming Soon
Starting this fall, the Chamber will roll out a series of workshops tailored for business owners. Some sessions will be free, while others may include a nominal fee to cover materials or special speakers.
Looking Ahead: A New Community Garden
Set to launch in 2025, the Chamber’s Community Garden will provide garden boxes for members, along with free classes (supply fees may apply). The project is spearheaded by the Garden Committee and will offer opportunities for sponsorships and volunteer work.
Annual Banquet a Highlight of the Year
Each April, Chamber members gather for the Annual Banquet, an evening of celebration featuring dinner, a guest speaker, awards, and a silent auction. Award winners are nominated by members and selected by the Executive Board. Tickets for the event will be available starting in the fall.
