The eight-seeded Bray-Doyle Lady Donkeys had a strong first quarter against the first-seeded Lady Indians, leading by as much as three before Comanche tied at 12 and pulled ahead permanently for the remainder of the game.

High notes for Bray-Doyle were powerhouse Sydney Kovar with 17 points and a strong 3-for-4 show at the free throw line by Kyndalin Byrd. Overall, the Lady Donkeys shot 80% from the line.

The Lady Indians pounded the boards strong throughout the game, especially in the second and third quarters where they put up 30 and 31, respectively. Bray-Doyle plays next against Davis on Friday at 6:40; Davis is coming to the consolation bracket after falling to the number-four seed Empire.

Comanche will battle Empire on Thursday at 6:40pm.
