Weatherford, OK - The Department of Music at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) is still taking registrations today, July 3 for the SWOSU Band Camp that takes place July 9 to July 14. The registration deadline is July 3, so interested individuals are encouraged to secure their spots promptly. This sought-after camp is expected to attract over 500 students this year.

SWOSU Music Camps bring a special energy and excitement to campus each year. These programs give students the opportunity to work with top-notch conductors and teachers, participate in ensembles, and hone musical skills while making lasting friendships and memories. Approximately 1,000 students and faculty travel from around the region to attend camps at SWOSU each year.

SWOSU has already hosted successful choral, solo voice, string camps, and the 35th annual Middle School Band Camp, which met the all-time attendance record, with 326 students attending this year’s program.
