Payne OCA Male Athlete of the Year

Avrey Payne was presented with the Oklahoma Coaches Association Male Athlete of the Year award during this week’s OCA event. Chad Chronister, Pauls Valley coach, presented Payne with the award. This is the third time in Marlow’s history to earn the athlete of the year award. Payne was a multi-sport player during his senior year. He played football, basketball and golf. He was selected to the All-State Football and Basketball team and was named the Jim Thorpe Oklahoma Basketball Player of the Year.
