Call for Student Artists to exhibit work during Youth Art Month

The Chisholm Trail Arts Council's CTAC Art Gallery will be taking student art entries, with parent/teacher approval, to be featured in the annual Youth March Art Show in Duncan. This is the seventh year for CTAC to participate in this nationwide show. CTAC is partnering with the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center by each facility hosting its open night on the same day to promote Youth Art Month. CTHC has been hosting the event for many years.

All students in grades K-12 are eligible to participate. Cash prizes in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons will be awarded to elementary, middle, and high school divisions.

Deadline to RSVP is Feb. 16 and artwork is to be delivered no later than March 1.

Opening reception and announcement of awards will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 8. The exhibit gallery will remain on display until March 22, said CTAC Executive Director Darcy Reeves. For more information, call Reeves at (580) 252-4160, or email: director@chisholmtrailarts.com
