Christmas events planned for Marlow and surrounding areas

It’s the most wonderful time of year, and the towns across Chickasaw Country are rolling out the tinsel, decking the halls and plugging in the lights to celebrate!
With displays all aglow, these Chickasaw Country towns offer a variety of holiday activities from shopping events to parades. Below you will find a list of some of the holiday cheer you can experience across the region.
Ada, Oklahoma –
The town of Ada shines bright during the holidays with its annual Trail of Lights in Wintersmith Park. Choose to drive or walk through the park’s brilliantly lit displays including the Forest of the Trees and the blue Memory Tree. The Trail of Lights is open nightly beginning Nov. 25 through Dec. 31.

The Pat Taylor Memorial Parade of Lights - 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7
Ardmore, Oklahoma –
Ardmore’s Festival of Lights features a one-and-a-half-mile-long drive through Regional Park. With more than 150 lighted displays, the park is open nightly from Nov. 16 until Dec. 30.

25th Annual Parade of Lights – 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3
Depot Nights & Christmas Lights, offering complimentary carriage rides throughout the Depot District - 6 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 5, 12 and 19
Chickasha, Oklahoma –
The 32nd annual Chickasha Festival of Light begins its celebration on Nov. 22. This free walk or drive-through lighted winter wonderland in Shannon Springs Park is the ultimate holiday light destination. In addition to the nearly 4 million lights throughout the park, the festival offers ice skating, a Ferris wheel, camel rides, carriage rides, food trucks and photos with Santa. The Festival of Light is nightly beginning Nov. 22 through Dec. 31.

Chickasha Christmas Parade – 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7
Purcell, Oklahoma –
Drive through more than two miles of lights around Purcell Lake with the annual Lights from the Heart. Attendees will drive past static displays and through tunnels of magical lights. This wonderland of lights is free to the public from Thanksgiving Eve to New Year's Eve.

Sulphur, Oklahoma –
Celebrate the holidays as you drive through the Chickasaw Cultural Center’s Celebration of Lights. The display includes dozens of lighted pieces throughout the campus depicting traditional Christmas themes, as well as several unique cultural additions. The lights are open nightly from Nov. 30 to Dec. 31.

Sulphur Parade of Lights – 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2
Classic Christmas at the Artesian – Friday and Saturday from Dec. 6 to Dec. 21
Christmas Celebration at the Chickasaw Cultural Center – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7
Tishomingo, Oklahoma –
The Chickasaw National Capitol will feature Christmas Lights at the Capitol nightly from Thanksgiving to Dec. 31. The lighted displays on the Capitol’s grounds feature many Chickasaw-themed pieces including animals important to the Chickasaw people and depictions of Chickasaw life.
