Bray-Doyle football team earns State Academic Championship title
Bray-Doyle football team received the 2022 Class C State Academic Championship, Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at Southern Nazarene University stadium, during the Class C 8-man State Title Championship Game between Tipton and Waynoka. The Bray-Doyle football team was awarded the 2022 Class C State Academic Championship, Friday, at the Southern Nazarene University stadium during the Class C 8-man state championship game between Tipton and Waynoka.
"This award is a team effort. It's based on the GPA of all active members of the football team," said Coach Casey Coles. The team also received this award in 2018. The team is comprised of Dean Barnes, Aaron Kelly, Jadon McLearen, Brody Whitney, Caleb Carson, Jayden Phillips, Devyn Gill, Rayden Crow, Alex Grigsby and Gunner McAnally. Coaches are Marcus Knight, Casey Coles and Chad Wilson. David Eads is superintendent of Bray-Doyle Public Schools.
