MHS Swim Team finishes season at State

The Outlaw swim team competed at the state meet in Jenks, Feb. 15. The 200-yard Free relay consisting of Cruz Sanchez, Miguel Lara, Grant Woods, and Logan Woods placed 12th in the preliminary heats. Logan Woods placed 21st in the 50-yard free, and Brodie Duncan placed 22nd in the 100-yard back stroke. “It was an accomplishment for all swimmers to qualify for state. Logan Woods was the only returning swimmer and all first-year swimmers showed incredible improvement over the season to learn the sport and qualify for the state meet,” said Coach Cindy Dyes.
